ICF Information Package
The 30-year history of the International Children’s Fund begins with the ministry of Dr. David Bruenning Gifts Handled with Care

At ICF, we are committed to being good stewards of our talents and our resources. We take our responsibility as a Christian charity very seriously and work diligently to identify the most efficient and cost effective means of delivering help to those in greatest need.

For more than 30 years we have earned the trust of tens of thousands of caring donors. They support ICF because of the good work we do and the highly efficient, cost effective manner in which we do it. Noteworthy are our:

  • Low-overhead Costs — Virtually all ICF staff members volunteer their time without compensation, resulting in fundraising and administrative costs during 2009 of less than 2% of total contributions.
  • Local Indigenous Ministers — by working through local Christian missionaries we make certain that resources move directly to those in greatest need, with minimal loss due to transport, logistics, theft and graft

Because of our financial strength and efficient operation ICF has been awarded a four-star rating — the highest status awarded — by the premier watchdog agency Charity Navigator.

In addition to its efficiency, ICF is committed to maintaining a high standard of financial reporting and transparency. We are audited annually by the accounting firm of Hendershot, Burkhardt & Reed Certified Public Accountants (current info is available at the links below.)

Contributions to International Children’s Fund are tax deductible as allowed by law. If you have questions about our financial statements, controls, or procedures or would like to discuss a donation, grant or bequest feel free to contact us at 920-729-5721 or by email at Contributions@ICFaid.org.
